Really annoying texting feature

Hey not sure is anyone else is having this problem but if you could find a fix to it, it would be greatly appreciated. So for some reason my phone likes to automatically add words after i type a word. So let's say the last time i used "lmao haha" if i type "lmao" in another text it will automatically put "haha" right after it. Not sure if that makes any sense but it's really frustrating because i've checked every setting possible and it wont go away. Please help me. :'(

Sounds like it is the samsung's system keyboard doing that. Try installing another keyboard from the market and try it out. I really like swiftkey beta x. It's free at the moment. Give it a try and see if it works out.

Annoying autocomplete

Above the input window is a row of suggested completions. One will be the fragment you have actually typed. Touch that and you can go back to complete the word you want.

Yeah that issue used to erk me also. Its from Samsungs version of there keyboard. I swithced to the normal Android Keyboard and it doesnt that that. Stayed with that for awhile and now Im back on Smart Keyboard Pro. Not sure about an aftermarket Inspire keyboard. But if someone extracted the APK from the Inspire, you could possibly install it on the Infuse. But you probably will have to be rooted. Not to sure though. I would check over at XDA Developers website to see if anyone has accomplished that.

Lately I've been using thumbkeyboard with the normal portrait layout and the 5" landscape layout. It just works on a 4.5" display.
