2 hours and 45 minutes and I'm down to 45% battery. What the heck!?! I have gone through 3 full battery cycles... help?

1st, your subject title sucks.

2nd, you have to give more info... what brightness is your screen at, is GPS always on or off, same w/ wifi, are you using it constantly like the crack head that I am w/ my Galaxy Nexus?

Have you tried the iPhone recommendation to save battery life by turning your phone off? lol

What apps are running in the background that are your battery drainers?

i bet you have LTE running 24/7. keep it off and only toggle it on only when you really need that burst of speed (downloads, youtube video, etc.).

4G is a battery killer given the limits of today's technology.

Check to see whats eating your battery under the "battery" section in settings. Thats a good place to start as well.

I've been running 4G 24/7 and I'm getting eight hours of normal use without recharging.

Could be a widget.

Yes please provide some more information that would be great.

It would be nice to provide some info that would actually be helpful so that others can try and help figure out what's eating the battery.....

Try to stay connected to wi-fi when you can, it REALLY helps with battery life. Welcome to the 4G world :)

Third, there's already a thread for this.

My solution: Juice defender. 3 hours into the day with LTE on and I'm at 86%.

....and be wary of the Facebook App. It's okay to have it installed, but after you are done on Facebook, "force stop" that background stuff that runs. This has seemed to help me a LOT. Go to settings>apps>running>Facebook and then STOP anything there (usually 1 or 2 services running).

No I have no GPS on and no 4g I have it turned off. There are no apps eating the battery except for display. My brightness is on 20%. I have had a thunderbolt before with 4g off.

I usually swype away any apps from the recent app list that I know I won't be using for awhile and that seems to make a difference as well. I'm actually leaving my Galaxy Nexus off of the charger here at work. I wouldn't have even thought about doing that with my Thunderbolt.

Sounds like you have a bad battery. 4G/GPS/and if your screen is only at 20% of battery use then something is wrong. I'm getting 6-8hrs and my screen is in the area of 60-65%. I only turn on 4G when needed. Bluetooth and wifi are on nonstop. Get a new battery.

You have to either have a bad battery or something on your phone is killing your battery. Options would be to either try finding which app is causing it or factory reset. If that doesn't work go to Verizon for a replacement battery.

Call me crazy but I'm actually quite impressed by the battery. Leave wifi on all the time, few downloads a day, play games, check emails, replying to texts/ calls (wife is relentless!) .. didn't charge all day yesterday and at 6:00 pm I used navigation for a 30 min drive ( which worked perfectly BTW) and my phone wouldn't have died till this morning if I hadn't charged over night. Stock battery. I kill stuff with ATK from time to time and don't use facebook. If I don't do a lot with it is easily lasts a day but playing with it on and off all day at least 15 hours. First time I turned it on I did the kill the battery completely then fully charge bit.. wonder if that helped...?

This is cool... asides from the fact that it kills all of your push notifications until it allows the data to connect again which sucks IMO.

There's a screen for that.
Settings >> Battery will show you what is using your juice. You can click on the offending app(s) to get even more details.

Power+down volume at the same time to snap a screenshot. You can save it on Picasa and show it here.

Thanks for this information. After having my phone on for 3 hours with light surfing here and there I'm at 89%.......which seems to be better than my Razr. I bumped up the brightness on the screen too. The default auto setting was just to dark for me.
