My camera was great until today. I installed Camera Zoom FX (bought for .10) this morning but didnt load it up. i bust out the camera sometime this afternoon and toyed around with Camera Zoom FX and it looked fine. then it randomly started showing the picture as a deep yellow. WTF? so i reset all settings. no change. load up the stock camera and SAME THING?!. reset settings in that camera as well, still yellow. i toggle to the FFC and it looks normal in both camera apps.

WTF happened to my phone?

Remove the new camera app, should fix it

woops, forgot to mention that i uninstalled camera zoom and no change. i also deleted its settings off my sd card and also no change.

im noticing that on top of it being deep yellow, the color-based effects of the stock cam app look off as well and the pictures look grainy.

I'm sure a factory data reset will solve this issue, backup data!

Have you cleared data in the camera app?

yea cleared my data last night after seeing your post. no change. i even reinstalled camera zoom fx and cleared data (even tho i deleted the folder manually) and no change. I'm more wondering WTF happened at this point than anything else. i mean i did install the new camera app, but i also went almost a full work day using the phone before i opened the camera and saw it yellow, and even then it worked great with the new app for a little while. i also dropped my phone yesterday from a height of about 2.5' onto carpet with no case on it. battery door popped off but dunno if that affected the camera or not. i literally was toying with Camera Zoom settings, then backed out of the menu and the screen was randomly yellow. and with the front camera looking normal...i dont know what to think besides maybe the drop hurt the camera and then it finally gave out when i was using it.

uploaded 2 pics to show the drastic difference b/w front and rear.

getting the GNexus asap but not eligible for upgrade until next month so i want to sell my TB to offset it.

I also bought the app and my camera was red... all I did was reboot my phone and works like normal.

Well, this isn't sounding good. Do you have insurance?

-Frank

no, but there's no visible damage to it so i dont think it would be a problem getting it replaced if it is damaged. ive dropped the phone plenty of times from higher height and on harder surfaces. not saying it couldnt have gotten damaged but i wasnt even scared when it happened cause it wasn't a big drop.

i've rebooted twice now and no change. did you uninstall camera zoom fx before rebooting?

OK it's fixed. it was definitely caused by Camera Zoom FX.

i had previously rebooted a few times and no change, but had done this after uninstalling the app. I reinstalled zoom fx, reset settings to default, rebooted, and everything was back to normal.

thanks for the help
