Reason why no home screen auto-rotate or screen capts with stock?

Wondering if anyone knew if the Inspire 4G's inability to do screen captures and to auto-rotate the home screen had to do with limitations of the device, the Android version, or the Sense version?

I'm rooted with 2.3.5 and sence 3.5 and mine doesn't rotate at the home screen.

I don't think any Sense roms auto rotate the home screen. Your phone usually has to be rooted to take screenshots.

It isn't a device or Android version limitation. I'm not rooted and using Launcher Pro and the home screen auto-rotates.

I believe it to be a Sense limitation. It could also be disabled by Android and alternate launchers just add that functionality.

I use go launcher and the home screen will rotate.
