Reasons why you want your Nexus 7 NOW !!

Though I'm a tech geek, usually I can wait for the release of something I preorder. Hell, I've never even purchased my iPhones on any of the launch dates, so I do have patience. That being said, for personal reasons, I wish I had it already. I'm going on a cruise for a week, July 16th to July 23rd. I'll be bringing my Kindle Fire, which has all of my books and some cool games and movies, but man it would have been fun to have the Nexus 7 along for the ride with some games optimized for its Tegra 3 chip (especially Dead Trigger). And then the Kindle App for my books and some movies.

Obviously I'm being a greedy little tech geek, but do some of you have reasons why you'd love to have your Nexus 7 right now ?

I am most interested to try Photoshop Touch, Google Search and Google Now. Also all week I have been uploading music to Google Music so I am looking forward to playing with that too. By the way I have no patience waiting for any new tech lol.

Going on vacation in August. Need to have this before then. I ordered from the Play Store on the 29th, so I **SHOULD** be good. Unless, of course, some ridiculous delay happens.

I'm going on a trip July 20-30, my son ganks my iPad every time we travel, so with e Nexus, he can use my iPad and I could read and play games without worry.

It is possible it ships tomorrow. When I went to check my order on Google Play it showed my device plus Alice in Wonderland, The Three Musketeers, and Treasure Island. I didn't download any of those and couldn't have considering the fact I don't own any Android devices. So my guess is they pre-loaded it onto my device which means its on its way.

I'm impatient, however this is nothing compared to waiting for the $99 HP Touchpad to ship... I bought the 2nd wave of TPs from HP Direct and it was constant stress about whether I even got one (they had a limited amount)... I ended up having my order cancelled and got one through Bestbuy... Seems silly now!

where did you see this exactly? i looked at my google wallet order, where in google play do i see this?

Also i want mine because its my first tablet, its my first android device, and i FREAKING WANT IT NOW!!!!

EDIT: nevermind i found it, i do not see those items in my order, just the Nexus 7

Man I remember that fiasco last August. It was crazy, 10 peoole ordered the HP Touchpad in my office, all of our oders were cancelled by Barnes and Noble. Coundnt get it anywhere, even missed out on the second round on HP's website. Now that I've had the Kindle Fire and soon to have my Nexus 7, I could care less about the inferior HP touchpad. But those were fun, crazy, frustrating days last summer.

I only have class 2 days a week, but it would still be easier to bring the Nexus 7 with me to school for my 1 online book, instead of having to lug my 15 inch laptop with me for one class. That, and it's my first tablet.

I love my "new" iPad but its just so damn big! I am excited because this is more portable and I have a 4G LTE Elevate hotspot from AT&T so my mobile needs should be covered and I won't lean towards the iPad because of the LTE. I still love my iPad but its nice to have something different after 3 of them.

My daughter will be born about when it's shipped.. I need it to NOW!! That way, I can survive when the wife demands I stay in the hospital 24-7.
