Android Central Question

Had the screen replaced on a Huawei P9 phone worked fine before just had a damaged screen.

Now screen works but phone is stuck in constant reboot loop and is unusable.

Repair shop accusing us of "resetting" the phone?? We didn't do anything with it it worked for a few hours and then just went into this loop.

Welcome to Android Central! Doing a factory reset wouldn't cause a bootloop. If the screen had failed or was damaged due to some kind of trauma, it's conceivable some other hardware component was damaged as well. Since you presumably were unable to test the phone prior to the screen repair while the screen was damaged, it'd be hard to say for sure that it wasn't doing this kind of thing before the repair shop touched it.

I'd find a better repair shop, though. "You reset it" sounds like their "lie of the day". Resetting the phone can't do that.
