Reboot Loop on Spare Battery

I have 2 batteries for my phone. My first one works perfectly fine but when I switch to my spare, it seems to work fine at first. The spare works okay for few minutes but than suddenly my phone reboots. After that, it does the eternal loop of reboot. The reboot loop only happens on my spare battery so it isn't a stuck power button. Help?


Things I've Tried:
-Clear System Cache
-Put normal battery in than spare
-Scream at my battery for not working

Welcome to Android Central! The spare battery is probably failing or defective. Place it flat on a table and try to spin it. If it spins freely, it's bulging in the middle, which is a bad sign. But lack of spinning doesn't rule out failure. I'd suggest getting a new backup battery.
