Anyone's nexus 6 takes a long time to reboot or is that normal.

It certainly isn't the quickest when it comes to rebooting. Without knowing the exact time length you're referring to, I'd assume that what you're seeing is normal.

Yeah, I certainly noticed that it is not the quickest, seems to take a time with those dots before it gets to android

I believe the reboot is longer due to the encryption being turned by default.

It's the built in encryption that makes it do that.
