I recently rooted and installed bugless beast. Everything is working great but when I reboot the phone, it will reboot once or twice before it finishes. I don't reboot much but I wonder what could be causing this?

Just something in the rom that does it or you have something in their that is doing it I would wipe my phone then load the virgin 2.01 Tom then flash Pete's update over that it should fix it. But if that's to extreme just let it go it shouldn't hurt your phone

Discovered another issue. I also am getting a quick reboot when I remove the usb cable. I don't get the option to unmount but turn off. As soon as I do, the phone does a quick reboot(droid screen). I also see that debugging is turned on. I don't have the necessary driver for this and the pc just puts me in mass storage mode. Is this a problem?

If I get a virgin rom and load it to start all over, I will have to reload all of my apps right? From what I have read, the droid will reconnect with google and let you DL all of your paid apps right?

You will have to reload them all. As soon as you log in, you will be able to reinstall them.

Well, after some reading, I think I understand more. The nandroid backup should wipe the phone and restore the new rom for a clean install. Is this correct? I did not lose anything except my apps. The USB and rebooting issue is gone now :)

I was going through the exact same thing from using the update.zip method so this week I plan on going the nandroid route.
