Last year when 10 came out, my 3a XL received it within 24 hours. 2 days later this year, and no sight of 11. Is this typical that it gets pushed to older phones later? I saw there were instructions on how to upload by connecting to a Windows PC, but I'd rather wait to get via OTA.

Several users here (and other Forums) have reported receiving Anroid 11 on a Pixel 3. Have you restarted and checked again?

Sprint, but I didn't think this comes via carrier on Pixels, does it?

I checked with both Sprint and Google, and Pixel updates come directly to the device. Carrier has no control over it.
Trust me , and look around the forum thread's for pixel updates, carrier have the control.

I have the pixel 4xl unlocked from Google, when a update rolls out I either have to put my Att sim or Tmobile sim to see who rolled it out first .

I updated my wife's replacement Pixel 3a, no SIM, not activated on any network just on WiFi. Wouldn't that suggest the update came from Google servers, since the phone had no idea which carrier it was assigned to without a SIM?

Yeah it will get updated normal, but if Verizon has the update out first guess who's getting first , Verizon. Same who's ever next to roll it out . Why don't I get it first since mine a unlocked version strait from Google?

I found a way to get updated. I signed up for the Android 11 beta, and I immediately got the stable version downloaded and installed.

Yes everyone gets from Google , but the carrier roll it out , like I mentioned look in the many many threads during pixel 3 and 4 updates roll out

Absolutely true. As mustang said, the forums are full of posts where one, or more, carriers weren't getting updated as quickly as the others. No coincidence. The update does come from google but the carriers control the release of the update.

Thank you !
I've been on pixels since 2xl,3xl,3a,4xl Google unlocked version, so I seen over time how its being done. Wish it wasn't the case but unfortunately it is :(
Even Samsung unlocked version same way :(

Yup. I had a Telus branded phone for my Nexus 5, updates were vetted by them first before being passed through to us. Supposedly to ensure compatibility with their network. Yet when I flashed android directly from Google somehow it just worked.
