Received my new X today.....

Couple of things that I have noticed:

1- When initiating bluetooth voice dial, the volume when it says "say a command" and when confirming who you want to call is very low. After it dials the number, volume is fine.

2- I am getting a lot of 1X signal. NEVER got that on my Droid 1. I did the PRL update.

3- If I install LauncherPro, is it going to mess up Blur? I have read of problems with it.

Any suggestions?

1) Can't speak to this one as I have not used a bluetooth headset yet.

2) I had 3G connectivity issues, ended up being replaced by VZW for that and a couple of freezes.

3) LauncherPro will not mess anything up. It essentially replaces the AntiBlur, but it does not delete or remove it. There is handy app called Home Switcher that will let you switch easily between AntiBlur, LauncherPro or any other launcher you may use like ADW or Zeam. I have used both LauncherPro and ADWLauncher and like them both.

I have honestly noticed problems with the blur widgets using launcher pro, weird operational ones. They can't remember the settings I try to use and the social ones confuse themselves with the news feed ones (i.e. The wrong ones open up). But, it's a small thing overall, just one of those minor annoyances I've learned to live with. Overall, the phone runs great with it, maybe a touch slower sometimes. But I can't directly blame lp since I've added other things since using it.

I should have clarified. As Flawson pointed out, some of the MotoWidgets have had problems, but that's the widgets not the whole AntiBlur interface.

That being said, you can find betteralternative widgets for all of the MotoWidgets. But if you really like them and they don't play nice with LauncherPro, you can un-install, no harm, no foul.
