Receiving Other files.null message instead of group text.

Hi, about a week ago I started to receive the message Other file_1563537838585.null when group texting. The numbers seem to be random. So far it's only in the group text as I can text each person individually and separately and I'm not getting this with anyone else, tho I don't group text anyone else, so there's that.

I've tried deleting the message thread and rebooting the phone, but neither helped. Thought I'd see if any one else has had this problem before I resort to wiping the office and starting fresh.

Here's a screenshot of what i'm getting.

I am experiencing the identical issue. Mine are also MMS. I am searching for an answer.
Seems to be after I accepted the new Oreo OS upgrade.
I am on a LG V30 on T-Mobile.

Your APN settings may be messed up. Settings -> Netwoork & internet -> mobile networks -> Access Point Names. I'm not on Tmobile so I'm not sure what this should look like, but googling finds me an article on tmo's support for how to set it up on a Galaxy S5, so they might have something for the G6.

If all is good there and it persists, you could try another texting app just to see if something is just not working right with your app. I personally prefer Textra and even the ad-supported version is fine.

Thanks, I'll look up the APN settings and see if that fixes it.

Thank you!
I double-checked my settings, which matched up.
I restarted phone (which I had previously) and miraculously it is now working. Not sure what happened, but thanks for the insight!

Good luck, @jchapman01!

Thanks, that worked! I did the same thing... Just opened the APN settings and confirmed they were the correct. rebooted the phone (again) and everything's working.
