Recent update of Google Now Causing Urbane "Ok Google" feature to always say offline...

Anyone notice this...

If i update my "Google Now" app on my Samsung S6 it causes the "Ok Google" feature to hang and always give a "offline" response on the watch.
I check and the phone and watch say connected either via blue tooth or wifi but i still get the offline cloud error everytime i try saying "ok Google" on the Urbane.

I uninstalled the updates on my S6 for Google Now, and now it seems to work, but i dont get any random "cards" on the watch.

anyone know a fix or have heard of this issue?

Same issue with new moto360 v2.
Notifications come into the phone but nothing will go out from watch. OK google says offline. Hangouts says offline.

Same issue with my G Watch R and Urbane (using LG G4). Any fix? Not seeing much mention of this problem anywhere.
