Recently repaired phone boot looping??

I have a G4 that is just past it's two year birthday, and never had a problem until the big software update in June, when it boot looped to death. Sent it in to LG, who repaired (not replaced with a refurb) it for free even though it was out of the original warranty. Now the newly repaired phone has started to randomly restart itself. It does not appear to be hot at the time, and always comes back on, but very troubling. Is this common for a phone repaired recently? Thought LG would know exactly how to fix the damn thing so I wouldn't have to go through this again!

It's not common for a phone to reboot randomly. I would suggest you contact LG repair. Sorry.

I definitely will. God, this SUCKS! Worst parts are I just let my Square Trade warranty lapse, and not looking forward to using my old Samsung flip phone if this thing needs to go in again.

Anyone had luck getting LG to send a refurb to replace a phone that they just repaired? This is ridiculous!

From a practical standpoint, with all the issues with the G4, I would def contact Moto but start looking for a new phone in the mean time.

Guess I figured with all the negative customer feelings about how many phones were defective, and all the time they've had to work on a solution, they couldn't' seem to fix my phone right the first time.

Just sent in my wacked out, recently "repaired" G4. We'll see if they can get it right this time.

It almost sounds like the problem with mine. It was a refurbished phone, due to the bootloop issue. It was working fine, and I had given it to my wife, who kept complaining about it shutting off. I could replicate the problem, but put it back into the wood case I had used and it worked. The problem on mine is any movement on the case causes something to disconnect and it shuts off. My old wood case prevents the movement. I've given up and just bought a new phone, and hope a get a few $$$ from the class action lawsuit for broken 2 G4s and V10.

What's this lawsuit you speak of? Like the OP I sent in my G4 in less than a year ago and got a repaired unit. Now less than about 6-7 months after using the "new/repaired" unit my 2nd LG G4 is going through boot loops and unexpected power shut offs. Tired of this and don't think I'll go with LG again.

Any other suggestion from users who have experienced this? I'm entirely with you @Aflaaaak
