Reception getting worse and worse

My reception keeps getting worse after doing a factory reset. Every time I reset my phone works perfectly, but slowly I lose reception in my house. At first it is intermittent, then over time it gets to the point to where I cannot carry on a conversation. If I do a reset or get an update (OS, not security) from Verizon, it gets better but ultimately degrades over time.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Everything was find on Kit Kat. It first started to happen shortly after the 5.0.1 update.

I can't remember exactly, but Volte comes to mind. You might try searching for issues regarding Volte and disabling it. I'm really sorry, the information is really vague in my memory.

i noticed that i lose calls a bit more than i used to in places that i always have service, and losing service once and a while too, is this common with the Galaxy note 4? i have Verizon Wireless. i use my phone for GPS alot when traveling and have a trip booked march 4th 2016 and cant afford to be losing service and ill be using GPS to get to Ny/NJ to board a cruise.
