It is my first post, but I really need help with this one! I have googled a lot and could not find a real solution. I hope to get some clearer answers here...
Basically my problem is really bad mobile reception using my One Plus One. The strange thing is that it started to happen only since I have moved to Stockholm! I bought my phone in the Netherlands, it was shipped from the UK so I assume it's a European version. Never had problems receiving good signal in Holland or Italy, here in Sweden it keeps on disconnecting from the mobile network! No LTE, H+ works only for a while but moving around the city the signal drops really often and sometimes it's impossible to connect to the mobile network.
I am sure it's not the provider, cause I have Comviq that attaches to the Tele2 network and all my friends using Comviq can use 4G or 3G without problems almost anywhere in the city. Stockholm should have really good mobile coverage. I also exclude the sim card since it works well in other phones.
Could it be that my OPO is not compatible with the network here in Sweden?! I have tried to go to a Tele2 shop but they cannot help me, they never heard of this thing. Do you know of similar problems?
My question would be, is there an easy fix in your opinion? I thought maybe flashing a rom that is very stable and optimized for "mobile reception" could improve my mobile coverage? I am not an expert on roms or kernels so I really don't know. If you could point me to a thread where they expalin how to flash a custom rom or kernel in a clear way I would be very greatful. And also if you could tell me which one would be better to try to solve my problem..
