Reception with FM Radio in car

Ironic as it may sound, I want to be able to have my car radio on Aux and use the FM Radio on my Droid X while it's plugged into the radio's audio port, so that GPS instructions can come through on the speakers while I'm listening to the radio. But the reception is poor. Is there a type of audio cable that works especially well as an antenna for this purpose?

You could try streaming your FM using TuneIn Radio (free) or WunderRadio (paid) or A Online Radio (free). AOR has a more reliable stream than the others from my experience.

Thanks, I wound up finding RadioTime, the paid version of TuneIn, and iHeartRadio for the Clear Channel stations that RadioTime doesn't carry!
