Recieving MMS messages

For some reason, when I get MMS messages from a few of my friends, the messages seem to come across as a video file instead of a image. This never happened on my iphone. Is there a setting that I need to check on the android to fix this?

Its actually slide show mode. This is a samsung thing that they never fix unfortunately. But if you use something like handcent sms it fixes this problem. Handcent is alot more customizable any how..
