If you can stretch your budget to $400 and find a Moto X code you could get a 32GB Verizon or Sprint version.

You could get an Optimus F7 for Boost Mobile/Sprint or the f3 or f6, or the latest HTC Desire. All have micro SD , CDMA, relatively cheap.

Boost or cricket is your best options for 300 and cdma.

since it is a backup, why not save yourself a bunch and blow the rest on beer? i have a galaxy s that i bought used on ebay for 30 bucks that fits your criteria. serves me just fine as a backup. in fact, i have the sd card loaded up with music, and it is streaming to my bluetooth speaker right now and will be my dedicated xmas music player for the house for the next week.

I often sell on CL and work to ensure buyers are comfortable in that they got a good deal on flawless items. I like to believe that's not uncommon or hard to find on CL.

Depends on the area where you live. I'm glad there's people like you that work to ensure the safety of the product you are selling. I live in a rather safe area, but recently a seller on craigslist was murdered over a PlayStation 4. Not exactly my cup of tea. I guess I'll have to be careful who I buy from and where they are located...

I also sell all my phones on Craigslist. I will only meet them in an AT&T store (I am on AT&T and all the phones I sell are AT&T phones) I carry a little bill marker from staples (make sure bills are real) and have never had an issue.
I too make sure the customer buying gets to see and feel the phone before they purchase. anyone unwilling to meet INSIDE a public, safe place isn't someone you should be doing business with to begin with.

I make them meet me at stores near ME, in areas that aren't in the ghetto. I skip anyone who can't or won't do that.

Unfortunately, not every plans out everything as thoroughly as you I'm afraid. and if you are thinking I live in the ghetto, I don't. This was in San Jose, California. It's a pretty safe area overall.

We didn't say that we weren't going to get robbed. We simply meant that the probability is much lower in a place like an AT&T store.
