recommendation for car mount - buy i use a wallet style case

I keep my GS4 in a wallet case - the type that encloses the phone with a leatherette back and has a flip cover over the screen with magnetic strap to close it. That type of cover has saved my phone from drop damage, screen damage, and provides a pocket for business cards, cash, etc. I like it. But as I contemplate a dashboard car mount for the phone I don't see any mounts that look like they can grab a phone that already is in a wallet style case because the flip cover would keep one edge from being gripable. Anybody know of anything that holds that type of case?

I'm not sure what type of car mount you want (dashboard mount, air vent, or CD mount), but you should consider Exogear's mount. I have a GS3 with a hard shell case and it (ExoMount Touch) holds my phone just fine. It's also strong enough to hold a Note 4. The mounts are on amazon and opensky. Hope this helps.
