Recommended apps not changing

[Android Central Question]

When I tap the button to see the recently used apps on my S10e, the 4 recommended apps at the bottom are not updating. Before the recent Android update, if I opened and closed an app then it appeared on the left side of the recommended apps. Now it will only cycle between 'operational' apps (calendar, clock, settings etc.) and won't show any other downloaded apps. Any ideas?

It's a bug with the current UI update. There are a few open threads here about it and a myriad more on other forums.
