The question you should be asking is:

Why if the s7 can do 15W wireless, they come out with a 10w only?

if your phone blows up like the death star dont say I didnt warn.

My 10w wireless seems to take 2 1/2 or more to fully charge.. I was expecting a little faster.

Because the fast wireless charging standard was set by WPC not very long ago. Give the manufacturers a chance to catch up. Don't go around spouting nonsense.

If fast charging at the max a device is capable will start blowing up phones, why haven't we experienced these issues already with wired fast charging?

I'm using my Nokia Qi charger with no apparent ill effects. Works very nicely.

I use a dirt cheap powerbot at home overnight. At work I have a choetech fast qi but it's only 10 W. If I'm in a hurry I just plug in.

I got the free Samsung Wireless Charger (not the Fast Charge) at home and the Spigen 3-coil charger on my desk at work. Both work fine, though the Samsung is a bit picky about which USB cable you use with it.

Wireless charger + person who wokes up in the middle of the night and wants to see what time is it = misplaced mobile phone on wireless charger = alarm sound from wireless charger = annoying. i had experience the wireless charging beep on previous Sammy phones, but not on the S7 Edge. I have used it on both the Tylt and Samsung wireless chargers, neither beeps and lights up

For $15.99 I have to say it does the job just fine. It is about the size of the phone and very easy to place it. It doesn't seem to be picky at all and it works fine with a case. It's not fast charging but I just put it on here at night and it gets the job done.
