I thought there was a default voice recorder app in order to take notes or record conversations. I didn't see one. If there is not a default app, what is a good one to use?

It's on mine but AT&T hid access to it for some stupid reason only AT&T knows. I just used QuickShortcutMaker to add a shortcut to it and now I have it.

Is that created shortcut available in the app drawer or on the home screen? I had shortcut maker apps before, but the shortcuts had to stay in the home screen. They would not go in the app drawer. I don't want the shortcuts in the home screen.

Thanks! I was able to create the shortcut on the home page only. It is beyond me why AT&T decides to disable these kind applications that has not affect on their service. Just like the LG Themes. Now why disable that? No need to. None at all! /rantoff

Depends which company. With Verizon, just do a search in your app drawer for Voice Recorder, then put it on one of your home screens.

Yeah I had to do the same thing with themes too. I can think of any logical reason to block access to those apps especially since the recorder was already on the phone anyway.

Sorry it only puts it on as a shortcut so has to stay on the home screen.
