recording video

So over this weekend I recorded about 15 minutes of fireworks from my town and when i open the files on my pc I get no sound at all coming from the videos. any suggestions?

What encoding type did you use? MPEG4 or H.263 and I'll assume you have sound when you play the video on your phone?

Yeah I have sound on the phone. And I'm using vlc media player. I also tried wmp still no sound
