recover backup password for galaxy note 10

I have forgotten my backup password for my galaxy note 10. How can recover it. I need to set new screen lock and it keeps asking for the backup password

Was the device linked to your Samsung account? If so, you can log in to your Samsung account on another device to reset the screen lock info.

Can try here , if a Verizon user or not signed in your account on the phone then factory reset in recovery.
