Recover lock screen photo from Z983 phone.

I have an old Z983 phone with a lock screen photo of my nephew's that someone sent me years ago. It didn't transfer to any of my new phones ( l keep the phone charged up just to save it) I can see it on the lock screen. I am unable to find it. Please help.

Did you have that photo saved to the phones file manager or gallery?

Welcome to Android Central! That can be tricky, because I think when you set an image as a wallpaper, it gets saved to a system directory that the user can't access (if unrooted). So if you subsequently delete the image from your user directory, it can be hard to find.
