Hi, I have a stock GSM Nexus (with some version of ICS, don't know which one) which for some unknown reason seems to be soft-bricked (always boot-loops at the boot animation). I can access the bootloader, but when I go into recovery mode, the red exclamation point appears. I have never unlocked, rooted, or flashed this phone.

I have some valuable vacation photos in that phone -- is there any way to extract those photos? In particular, can I use "ADB" or "fastboot" to pull the data, even though I can only access the bootloader? Or can I flash the phone without wiping the data?

thanks a lot!

Were you ever able to recover your photos? My wife GNex soft.bricked and I am trying hard to recover our pictures of our first or son
....all of which are on her phone.

Is your bootloader unlocked?
Do you have a custom recovery?
