I think i need a little help. I was trying to manually update my droid to froyo last night. I followed the instructions I found online to download the file update.zip, used the power x reboot, etc etc. When i rebooted my phone, it still ran 2.1 os. I tried a different file, and deleted the wrong "update" zip file. Not the "update.zip" now the phone errors out when i tried to show my roomy what i did. is there a way to recover the update file for the droid?
My phone still works fine, still on 2.1.
I'm still impatiently waiting for verizon to send me 2.2. Sux because my coworker got the auto update over the weekend, and i had my phone a lot longer! grrr
