Recovering CHOMPsms...help needed...?

Question... I upgraded to a GNex today... and I'm trying to recover my ChompSMS txts and settings...

I did a backup of CHompSMS and copied to the GNex however I'm unable to recover it. In addition, I am also trying to recover via "MyBackup App"... but that too will not recover. I'm sure its because I need to copy the data to a certain folder, but which folder...?

Thoughts...?

Are you just backing up the app, or are you backing up the data from within the app? The actual txts aren't stored in ChompSMS, but in a DB on the phone.

Try SMS Backup & Restore. It will dump your txts to an XML. Then save the XML to your new phone, install SMS B&R and do a restore. This worked when my wife went from an Ally to an Enlighten. Not the same thing, obviously, but should work.

SMS B&R has been updated for ICS, but I noticed in the dev comments that some people are having issues.
