Recovering data with broken screen

[AC Question]

I dropped my phone the other day, and the screen has stopped working pretty much completely. It only shows little bits of random color on some of the edges. I am not completely sure if the touch is working at this point, because when I "turn on" the screen and start randomly swiping, the bottom three buttons unlight after a short time.

I have a lot of photos I want to recover (I just had my college graduation), but I can't use Kies3 without unlocking the phone.

Is there any way to get around this and unlock the phone, or any way in general to somehow recover these files?
