recovery mode 2.2.1 help!!

I rooted my droid finally with 2.2.1 and when I go to set up new roms I can't get into recoveey mode. The x and power button thing doesn't work. What do I do !?

Make sure you are holding X while powering on at the same time, then let go of the X after a couple seconds when you see the M logo. Or download ROM Manager from the market, flash clockwork recovery and boot to recovery from within the app.

How did you root your Droid? With superoneclick or motocache1's method? If u used superonclick, I highly recommend that u use motocache1 method. See my reply in the sticky on how to root your Droid for more explanation.
