Ok, I am used to the way it was on S5 and before, where you hold volume up, home and power button and release them once the blue text appeared iat the top.

But on this one I held it till a blue screen appeared with a pic in center and let go and I got no text options. I finally got out by holding power button, but Am I supposed to do something different?

Do I keep holding those 3 buttons until text appears? Or do I let them go when the Galaxy S6 Edge screen comes up?

I was going to try the wipe cache option, not sure if I am ready to try the factory data reset yet, but was going to try wipe cache, but never got any text on screen so had no idea what to do.

Cool, thanks. I guess I paniced and didn't wait long enough. I was so used to seeing the menu as soon as the 1st boot up screen disappeared on the S5 and earlier phones, I didn't know there was a delay on this one.

I did the wipe cache now, debating if I want to factory reset. Mainly cause on first setup, I picked as new device instead of using either the S5 or the S6 I used to exchange for the S6 Edge. Not sure which was better, starting fresh, or getting alot of apps from the S5.

Before I did the wipe cache, I checked Battery and get 72% Approx 1 day 12 hrs left, and Usage since last fully charged at 22h 29m 20s on battery. Will be interesting to see if it does better or not now that I wiped the cache after that one update installed.
