Redirect question

Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. I have a problem with my phone NOT redirecting properly. For example, I have a forum I belong to which sends an email notification if someone posts on a thread I subscribe to.

With my other Droid phones, and my computer, if I click on that link it takes me to the forum and the post in question. With my ZForce it does nothing. No redirection at all. Is this a Marshmallo issue, or am I missing something in the setup of my MDZF? Just a niggling issue which has me stumped. Thanks in advance for any help.

This problem sounds more like an issue with the forum you are using. I would suggest contacting their administrator and see if they can assist.

Did you manage to open that kind of links before? Maybe you created a default action to open them. Do you have an app to access that specific forum? If so, clear defaults in settings - apps and see what happens.

I'll give it a try. Works on several tablets, my Droid Turbo, and my Maxx before that.

I actually have the same issue with THIS forum. When I click the link I get the option of the app or a browser and when I choose the app, nothing happens.

Yeah. The Android Central main app has some problems opening linked for the forum, better if you use the Android Central Forums app.
