redmi headset connected to Samsung it is not working?

When i connect my redmi headset to my Samsung galaxy tab 4 the I couldn't hear the music .
The sound is very low ( in redmi phone I could hear upto maximum sound
So please suggest me how to increase the sound

Welcome to Android Central! Do other earphones work normally in the tablet? Is the earphone plug pushed all the way in? Check for any debris in the jack.
