Title says it all. Is it possible to reduce the amount of home screens? It is possible on my One S, not that it means it is on the N7, but it makes it more up to my needs. 1 is enough for me.

The stock launcher is nice, but also lacking in options unfortunately. I can't add or remove homescreen pages which is disappointing. Yes you can use an alternate launcher, but part of what I like about Nexus is the vanilla Android feel, and overall the default launcher works fine for me, so I'll stick with it. If you want to fill up some blank space, expand a widget to take up a full screen, for example, e-mail, twitter, or music widgets can take up an entire screen. It also makes it more enjoyable to use those widgets when they are taking up a full homescreen.

Wow. I use 9 home screens. How do you manage to only use 1 or 2?

I put my apps n folders, that's too much for me to have to look thru pages trying to find what I need. If I wanna watch a video I go into my pics folder, play a game i go into my playtime folder..I have a social folder for Facebook n twitter n Google plus. It's just easier for me to locate. If I used home screens I'd Probly use 6 or so.

Tap menu button, on the bottom of ur phone. It's the one that brings up options like settings. Tap edit and it should open up n u can see all ur screens. Drag the ones u don't want to the trash.

1) You've made 7 posts in this thread, none of them have helped us thus far, since you don't even own the same device we do. :'(

2) I'm the only one doing any helping around here, kindly informing you that you're not helping. O:-)

3) Why did you post twice in a row instead of edit in extra pointless text to the original pointless post? :-X

4) Why did you end a sentence with 6 periods in a row?

1) Android for the most part is the same.
2) how old are u? 12? I'M THE ONLY ONE DOING ANY HELPING...... and kindly my ass, get over yourself, ur being assinine.
3) I'm new, and didn't realize I could edit until a while ago.
4) why do u care what punctuation I use????? Bet that drove u nuts huh??????
5) what would possess u to be a total effing beotch to a total stranger? It's called thinking outside the box. Sometimes someone else's perspective or suggestion is what u need to fix an issue. I hope ur tablet explodes or whatever it is.
6) if u don't know how to do things or can't figure them out on something as simple as deleting homescreens, u shouldn't have the device. It's been my experience, and most people's as Well, that u have to play with it to figure out what all it does. Oh, another thing......get a different launcher if the one u have isn't doing what u need it to do.

I do use GIANT app icons and big widgets so it's easy to see what I'm looking for in the preview mode
