For those of you who have purchased a Pixel (or any product from Google Store) and changed your mind before receiving the package, did you refuse delivery or accept it and initiate the return process?

Does a restocking fee apply to the device if the seal is not broken on the box?

Is there anyway to track the item on the return trip?

(I ordered a Pixel 3XL prior to handling the demo device in the store and have come to the realization, that its too much screen.)

I guess part of it depends on whether it has shipped or not. When the Home Minis went on sale last Christmas, I bought one from the Google Store. Then it said it should ship and arrive in something like 3 weeks. Huh? So I went to Walmart and it was the same price. Bought it (they were running low on stock so I didn't want to chance not getting one). Walmart is great about the "no questions asked return policy".

I went back to my Google account and was able to cancel the order completely. You get billed when it ships, not when you place the order (at least that's the way it was a year ago).

I think if you refuse the Delivery you don't get charged restocking but it's only what I've heard. Best bet is to contact Google.
