Regarding the coming Froyo update

After the trouble so many people had with the last OTA, I decided I would leave well enough alone; my EVO worked and I didn't want to chance bricking it, so I never installed it. Does anyone know if this will prevent me from getting this week's OTA? Is there any way I can permanently "dismiss" the last one so it doesn't come up anymore?

I don't have an answer to either of your questions, but I really think you should reconsider installing the last firmware update.

These are problems? No, not at all. This update has gone smoothly compared to some I experienced in the days of Palm.

I have read on other forums of people trying the manual update and it would not go thru unless they had the latest OTA update.
