Okay so I've been underclocking my phone for some extended battery life using SetCPU. I currently have it set to 300-800, but the problem is I don't know how much is too much. Is 800 an average rate to set my MHz on or can I go lower?

And on another note, do games usually drain out your battery?

No direct experience with SetCPU, but "too much" would be entirely based on whether your battery life is "long enough" or "too short".

Regarding games, anything that uses CPU power, the device radios, or screen will use more battery power. So yes, that includes playing games.

Take a look at cpu tuner i find the configuration options there to be pretty amazing!
