If you are talking about the sensor/camera itself I'm sorry but you are stuck with whatever HTC offered at MWC.

I had to explain this in the S6 thread. The phones you saw at MWC are the phones you will receive in the store. Companies have to start manufacturing phones weeks in advance to meet supply/demand. For example, if Samsung had 20 million orders from carriers do you think they started producing those phones this weekend? Not at all, the manufacturing process doesn't work that way.

There are HTC M9's sitting I'm warehouses as I type. Any hardware problems won't be resolved because those phones have already been manufactured.
True but the firmware could easily be updated on all those phones. How many times have you gotten a new device and the first thing it does is install an update? Happens to me all the time. And in many respects the firmware is just as important if not more important than the hardware.

I agree with you that this has not been a good rollout for HTC. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression and the first impression of the M9 has been pretty dismal. But the final version hasn't been released yet. I'm waiting for some real world reviews of the final release. Both this and the S6 edge.
