Greetings. I'm here to amuse and bewilder you with my technological incompetence.
I put off buying a smartphone for a very long time, but I finally caved in. After much research (mainly on this site) I bought the HTC Inspire 4G. The price was right ($ 20 at Costco Wireless) and I just couldn't sell my soul to Apple. I'm still setting up the phone little by little.
I did have a Palm Treo for a little while. Liked it until it got buggy and then I went back to a paper organizer and basic phone. BTW that is primarily what I use the phone for-- organization. I figured I'd give technology one more try. I've had the phone for about ten days and I like it so far. Although it didn't take me ten days to learn how to use the ol' Covey 3 ring planner. The maps are very useful for work. Far better that our crappy MDT's with the Garmin that never connects in time to make it to the call. (I'm a firefighter-paramedic)
I do a little web browsing and so forth, but I'm partial to my 17" HD VAiO and 47" LED VIZO for entertainment purposes.
See ya around.
PJ
P.S. I haven't had a chance to really dig, but if anyone knows an app for text that uses data give me a holler. I'd really love to ditch my texting charges.
