Remapping Keyboard Keys

I was wondering if there is anyway on a phone with a physical keyboard without arrow keys, like my G2, to remap some of the more useless keys to be arrow keys. For example, the quick keys are absolutely useless and I would love to remap some of those. Maybe even the second shift key and alt key, I do not see the point for two of those keys. The arrow keys would be nice for gaming and, like when playing flash games, could play games you cannot with a trackball.

I, too, would like to know. I wanna remap a key into a Tab, and a key into smilie faces.
