Hello, I am waiting to receive a Seidio Active case for my EVO and I was just wondering, from those of you that may have it, what you think about it. Thanx guys!

I got mine the first week. I like it. Not too bulky, but gives it a bit more support I hope (Haven't dropped it, yet, so I don't know for sure)

Im liking mine. I did drop by device onto the seat of my truck and from there it hit the floorboard and then fell out onto the ground.
No damage done what so ever to the EVO LTE but a minor scrape on the top edge of the hard plastic case of my active case, and thats exactly what i bought it for..

On a side note, i did have to trip the inside of my power button down on the rubber part of the case. I have the clip combo and the power button would hit the clip part on top.. Took a razor blade and shaved it down inside the case and no more issues.

Do you have it with the holster? Does the silicone part of the case get caught when putting it in the holster? I had that issue with the Active case when I had my Epic.

Yes it does. Forgot about that.
Yes the silicone part does get caught up in the plastic clip at the top from time to time..

I have it with the holster. The case it nice. but there are several things wrong with the holster. When the phone is inserted in the holster, the power button is pressed and the phone wakes up. In addition, when the phone is in the holster, if there is some pressure applied to the phone against the holster, then the power button stays pressed and the phone reboots. This happens when I sit in the car with the seat belt on. Poor design on the holster latch.

See post number 5 for a possible solution to your problem.
I no longer have power off problems or reboots caused by the power button and latch issue.

Thanks a million everyone I'll be sure to take a look at the power button issue when it gets here tomorrow. I don't have the clip for it, personally I'm a pocket guy its just simple is all, plus I hate a lot of bulk.I'm glad that its does good in a drop situation.thanks again everyone!

I have the Convert and it works great. So far, the holster has not had an issue with the power button even though the clip covers the power button. Seems that all of the layers (it has the Surface as well as the silicon/plastic overlay), so it may be helping to minimize the pressure from the holster clip.

I don't have the power button/holster issue, and I've done no modifications to my case.

got it in a couple days ago and after a couple days of use I am very much satisfied with it, looks good aesthetically, light, thin not adding much bulk, holds good in hand, love the soft touch feel of the rubber, protects the protruding camera lens very well and the covered buttons press down very well. Overall very happy with it...

Love that it's thin but durable. My son "juggled" his Evo from about chest high to a tile floor 2 days after getting the case. Not a scratch...
