Everyone was bashing LG saying they couldn't handle making a Nexus device and the weren't well versed enough in creating Android hardware. Well they must have proven themselves because I haven't read a single person trash talking LG in terms of being the manufacturer for the Nexus 5. Even people who stuck around with the Gnex seem to be flocking to the 5. Good to see people trust in LG.

I will admit I am happy for LG. It keeps another device manufacturer in the spotlight.

Absolutely, in dumb phone and quick messaging phone days I only bought LG. Then when switching to smartphones I went with HTC and Samsung, but after using the N4 I think LG is very underrated considering the quality products they produce.

At least it's not Asus.

What is wrong with Asus? They make fantastic hardware too. The Nexus 7 2012 and 13 are testament to that. The 2012 had some quality control issues but if you got through those and were one of the probably 95% to get a device without defect it is a premium product for a low price. Rumor is Asus is making the next n10, I am excited. I would more likely buy an Asus n10 than a Samsung.

From what I have heard about Asus and their devices is they are like Babe Ruth: either a strike out or hits it out of he park. Not much of an in between.

I agree they build great hardware components.

I agree. But their Nexus devices both seem to be home runs IMO

Very true, but their other lines are where they seem to fall on their faces. But, they got the spotlight from Google too. Hopefully they can turn things around.

Yeah I mean it's not like the Transformer series wasn't plagued with WiFi issues, the N7 2012 had a really cheap nasty nand that caused the 2012 go into super slow mo, it also had a lot of issues with screen lift, and the latest offering the N7 2013 is quite simply shocking, my 1st one had light bleed and lag issues, and the one I have now has **** poor multi touch issuesand keyboard lag, Asus seem to be having quality control issues, I pray to God that this new N10 is a Samsung and not an asus

I have a TF300T and love it. Haven't had an issue with it. I like Asus products. They are well built. They are unafraid to give you the tools to use your device as you see fit. I personally have been waiting on them to release the next N10. If it's Asus I will get it. If it's Samsung I won't.
Every persons milage varies. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Samsung devices and good with HTC. Not everyone will have the same experience as me.
