"Remind me to..." Broken?

[Cant Miss]

All of sudden (I think it started some time today), whenever I use Moto Voice Or Google to say "remind me to call Lisa when I get home" (or any 'remind me to' phrase), it tries to set it up as an alarm and not a reminder.

Oddly enough, if I type that same phrase (char for char) into Google search bar it sets it up as a reminder.

Anyone else?

I haven't tried this but I did receive the Google Play Services update to 7.0.97 late last night. It may be related to that. On the plus side my battery has been noticeably better today.

I noticed that as well this morning! I restarted my phone, but that didn't solve the issue. I also received, within the last day or two, the latest update to Google play services.

Sounds like it's a Google issue and not a device issue to me.

I've noticed this issue after updating to 5.1. Rebooting doesn't help either. Good tip about typing it into the search bar. Thanks!

Following up on this issue, I can report that I am experiencing the same problem on my Nexus 7 2013. What an odd error!

This is not a Moto X or Android version specific issue. It is an issue on Google's back-end and Google is aware of it.

(not sure if I'm allowed to link to a story not on Android Central.... so.... Google it)

Mine was also screwed up, then a couple days ago it went back to working like normal. it probably got fixed in one of Google's app updates.
