Reminders Help ! (Im getting way too many google now cards)

Hi,

Can anyone help me with choosing a reminder app that send notifications to my gear s2.
Im currently using google now but Im getting way too many cards usually about traffic and not important ones like reminders.
Im thinking of using the calendar but would like it just for reminders (like as an alarm: remind me to .... at 2pm thursday)

I use My Notes In Gear.

In your Google Now card settings you can turn off anything you don't want such as traffic, weather, sports, etc

I use Any DO app. The app is not in the Gear store but the notifications/reminders appear from your phone to your watch.
