Remote Control App

My wife has a LG G2 and it comes with a remote control app that works great. It synced with every TV and cable box in our house no problem. I can't seem to find one similar for the X, or maybe the X does not even have the required hardware/software.

Anyone have any suggestions?

The Moto X doesn't have an IR blaster so I don't believe there is a way to control your cable box. Although I can control my AT&T Uverse with the Uverse app but that is not through IR.

That is what i figured. Yes, i did see some apps that worked through Wi-Fi, but i was hoping for something as easy as her LG. No biggie. Thanks for the help!
