Remove and adding email accounts

I have recently added the Mail droid app to retreive my emails from multiple accounts. However, now I have the stock email app also catching all these emails as well and I want to remove at least my POP3 account which receives the heaviest volume from the stock email app. I tried to also remove my yahoo account as well from the stock email app. From settings I go to account & sync and on this section neither the yahoo account nor the pop account show up. Only gmail and facebook are listed. How do I remove the POP3 account and the yahoo account? When I access the stock email app, it still shows all three accounts and I can't get them to go away. Help? I know this has got to be eating up valuable battery life.

open the email app and go to settings

Open your email app. Hit the menu button. Choose accounts. Long press on the ones you want to remove.

-Or-

Open your email app. Hit the menu button. Choose more, then account settings. Set the email check frequency to never.

Perfect! The long pause option got the job done and I did see where I can have the "never" update selection too. Thanks allot guys! I appreciate the help. You just made me smarter. LOL
