Remove factory install apps/bloatware

Just purchased an Ulefone Note 14--Android 12. I may know the answer, but gonna ask BEFORE I may do something I shouldn't. I really need/want to remove the bloatware and a few apps that were from factory. I believe I'll need to unlock the bootloader. OR, is there any other way I can achieve my quest without doing so? Now, should it be necessary to unlock bootloader, any tips, suggestions, cautions I should know?

I moved this from the Android Apps forum (which is intended more for developers to promote their apps) to the General Help forum.

Most preinstalled bloatware can't be uninstalled unless you root the phone. The forums at XDA-Developers.com are a good resource for that kind of information. Good luck!
