Remove Game Icons From Apps Drawer

I have LG V30+ with Oreo. In my old Galaxy Note 5, a game icon would be disappeared from apps drawer as soon as it is added to Game Launcher. But the game icon remains in apps drawer even it is added to the game launcher in LG V30. Am I doing something wrong? I don't want the uneccesary icon occupy space in apps drawer.

The Game Launcher for Samsung phones is different from the one on LG phones. Perhaps LG decided not to do it that way.

The only "space" it's occupying is screen space. The icon in the app drawer is the app. The icon on the home screen or in the Game Launcher is just a shortcut to the app. If you had shortcuts to all your apps, the combined space of all of them wouldn't be the same as the space used by one small app.
