Remove Keyboard transparency?

Updated to s9 pie. Have s9note. Keyboard is over message. Can't see what i am typing unless i move keyboard. Annoying and stupid update. Remove transparency it sucks.

I would imagine you would be able to change that in keyboard settings

Tried all settings...no difference. When i move keyboard, it defaults to that location for all apps.
